Summary: Tom Kraeutler, host of the Money Pit home improvement radio show, shares his favorite products for a green lifestyle. This segment features the Moen Lindley Eco-Performance Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet.
TOM: Hey, it’s Tom Kraeutler from the Money Pit with some tips on a new faucet that can really help you save some water and go green in your kitchen. This is from Moen. It’s called the Lindley Eco-Performance Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet.
I like this product because not only does it have a beautiful high-arch design and the pull-down functionality but it has three separate water settings. You can have the eco-performance standard stream or you can have an aerated stream. Now, both of those deliver water at 1.5 gallons per minute, which is a 32% reduction off of a standard flow.
If you want to fill up a coffee pot or a pitcher of water real quick, you can switch to the 2.2 gallon per minute fast fill option. That means that you can fill up those pots very quickly then go back to the eco-performance settings and be able to use that for your cleaning and washing and anything else that you need the faucet for.
It looks great. It comes in two different finishes, the Mediterranean bronze and also the classic stainless. It’s available at the Home Depot. For more tips on this and lots more great products from Moen, go to their website at Moen.com.
