When it comes to designing a kitchen, it can sometimes feel like you have to choose between looks or performance. But now with Cattura, the groundbreaking new downdraft from BEST, you can have both!
Designed for serious cooking, Cattura is as effective as a traditional island range hood but takes the form of a thin, sleek and retractable unit that elevates kitchen design while improving indoor air quality.
In fact, Cattura captures cooking fumes better than any other downdraft on the market – and is also up to 35 percent quieter!
The Cattura raises to 18″ to handle all cooking ventilation requirements and tall pots. It also features an efficient LED task light that illuminates the entire cooking surface for safety and convenience. And, best of all, it retracts when not in use to preserve the open look of your kitchen.
With the Cattura downdraft from BEST, you can design confidently, knowing it will pair with almost any cooktop appliance — both visually and mechanically — in almost any installation configuration. Cattura is able to be installed with a free-standing range, drop-in cooktop, gas or electric cooktop, slide-in range or a built-in oven with a cooktop. This is achieved with the FlexBlower system, which allows for up to nine ducting options.
Cattura contains a built-in, seamless front touch-control panel and the option of installing a remote control button that can be placed elsewhere on the countertop for easier access.
Pricing starts at $1,475. Visit www.bestrangehoods.com/cattura for more information and www.bestrangehoods.com/showroom to find your nearest BEST showroom.

Ducted range hoods need ducting to work, and they have both top-venting and rear-venting configurations. Top-venting systems run a duct from the top of the hood to the ceiling; rear-venting systems, on the other hand, run from the port in the back and lead the duct through the wall.
