TOM: By adding a heating appliance or two, you can continue enjoying outdoor living spaces well into fall. Patio heaters come in a range of sizes and designs. Get a tabletop model to warm up an outdoor living area or make a large space cozy with a freestanding umbrella shaped heater.
LESLIE: You can also use a cheap fire pit for cozy fall marshmallow roasts. Options include freestanding metal or clay pits that you can purchase. Or you can build one yourself from paver stones.
TOM: Next, bring out some warm accessories like throws for outdoor furniture. And add an outdoor rug to prevent cold feet.
LESLIE: Upgrade your deck or patio with a few of these cool weather changes, and you’ll be set for many wonderful autumn evenings outside. I’m Leslie Segrete.
