LESLIE: Get creative with less wasteful gift wrapping. Cut down on paper and plastic party goods. And as you make room for new electronics, use e-cycling centers to dispose of old gadgets.
TOM: And the batteries used to power all those gifts also lead to waste. Be kind to the environment and save money by investing in rechargeable battery systems.
LESLIE: Take advantage of holiday tree disposal programs, and any extra decorations and household goods can find new life when you donate them to charity. I’m Leslie Segrete.
