TOOLS & MATERIALS
- Wrench
- Toilet Seat

When taking on this DIY task, be sure to equip yourself with the proper safety gear.
STEP ONE
Remove old seat. Your toilet seat will be attached with bolts located underneath the toilet lid and behind the bowl. Use a wrench to unscrew the nuts and remove the bolts and toilet seat.
STEP TWO
Install bolts. Feed your new toilet seat’s bolts through the two holes at the back of the rim.
STEP THREE
Fasten new seat. Locate the bolts on the underside of the lid behind the bowl, then thread the new nuts onto the bolts by hand, tightening as needed. If your bolts are not pre-attached, snap the toilet seat into place.
